Aaron Whiteley, Au.D., CCC-A

Biography

Dr. Aaron Whiteley was born in Georgia. At a young age, his family moved to the Phoenix area, and he considers himself a native. He received his doctorate in audiology from the University of Arizona in Tucson after completing is undergraduate work at Arizona State University. Aaron completed his fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he focused on hearing aids and cochlear implants. At the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Whiteley refined his clinical skills and performed research that was accepted for presentation at national conferences.

Dr. Whiteley is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care for all of his patients. He utilizes a patient-centered approach and is committed to using the American Academy of Audiology’s Best Practices. One of his favorite things about audiology is helping families improve their ability to communicate and helping patients re-engage with their favorite people and activities.

Dr. Whiteley lives in Surprise, Arizona with his wife Leslie and young son Henry. He enjoys hiking and biking, spending time with his family, great food, and being close to his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Whiteley is licensed by the state of Arizona, holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a current member of ASHA.

Leslie Whiteley, M.S., CCC-SLP

Biography

Leslie Whiteley is a speech language pathologist with experience working with clients who deal with a hearing impairment, cochlear implant, and speech and language impairment. She has experience in public schools, private practice, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. One of her core beliefs is that every person has the right to communication.

Leslie was born and raised in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix. After attending Arizona State University for her undergraduate degree, she received her master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She was very excited to return to the Valley of the Sun as this feels like home.

Leslie welcomed their son Henry into her family in June 2020. Her greatest joy is watching him change as he learns about the world around him. In her limited free time, she enjoys crocheting, read, take her son for walks, and cook.
